Tuition and Costs for our programs:

ATTN: Sorry but due to the number of bad checks written to CCS and the local area District Attorney’s total lack of professionalism and his unwillingness &/or inability to prosecute people who write us bad checks, CCS can no longer take personal checks.

$3,200.00 - Entry Level Tractor Trailer Driver Training Program
A complete course of 171 contact hours including Classroom, Lab, Clinical, Road Work and CDL Class A testing. Course normally runs weekdays for 19 days. Placement assistance is included at no additional cost.Tuition shown does not include certain mandatory license fees, drug screen, D.O.T. physical, or room and board.

$1,000.00 - CDL Class A Refresher Course.
Consists of 45 contact hours of training. CCS will furnish student a truck and trailer to use. Tuition does not include license fees, D.O.T. physical, drug screen or room and board or, job placement assistance.

There are certain mandatory Costs which are not included in Tuition shown above. These Costs can and do vary by Individual but a reasonable estimation of these would be $300-.

DOT Physical Exam* $60-
If performed at the office of Samuel Breeding, MD 536 East Main Street in Kingsport, TN. 37660.

DOT Drug Screen* $40-
DOT Drug Screen Must be performed at the office of Samuel Breeding MD 536 East Main Street in Kingsport TN. 37660

*The office of Samuel Breeding is part of Holston Medical Group. The Price listed for the physical and drug screen is the Price charged by Dr. Breeding’s Office and payment is made directly to Holston Medical Group.

$120.00 - License and MVR fees are paid to the Tennessee Dept. of Safety.

This fee pays for all licensing fees due the State of Tennessee and does not pay for licensing fees due to any other states the student may need to pay for licensing requirements. The licensing fees are paid only while the student is attending classes. Once the student has completed the training program no other licensing fees will be paid by CCS on behalf of the student.

$82.00 - HazMat Fee
Required background check and finger printing for hazardous materials endorsement.

$5.00 - MVR (Motor vehicle report or driving record)
Must be recent and less than 30 days old at the time of testing.

$600.00 - Food Allowance (available through Eastman
Credit Union only)

Paid to the student at the rate of $200.00 a week. Optional with financing. A completed finance contract must be in place before any funds are dispensed to the student.
