- Designed for the student who posses a valid CDL-A permit and has had prior tractor trailer driving experience or training.
- Designed for the student who has a valid Class A Learners Permit and is seeking a Class A CDL license.
Payment of additional costs for the services of Outside Providers will be required to be paid as services are rendered during this Training Program.
a) Drug and Alcohol Screening Tests: All Drug and Alcohol screening tests MUST be performed by the office of Dr. Samuel Breeding with Holston Medical Group (HMG) Occupational Medicine in Kingsport, TN. Please note that all students are subject to random drug and alcohol screening while attending classes. The cost of all required screening is $80.00 total and MUST be paid directly to CCS Truck Driving School, Inc.;
b) DOT Physical: A DOT Physical is required in order to obtain a Commercial Driver License (CDL). Students may choose to have the doctor of their choice perform this Physical, however, arrangements have been made with the office of Dr. Samuel Breeding of Holston Medical Group (HMG) Occupational Medicine in Kingsport, TN to provide our students with a DOT Physical for $40.00. If the student wishes to use Dr. Samuel Breeding to provide the DOT Physical then the $40.00 MUST be paid directly to CCS Truck Driving School, Inc.

Acceptable Forms of Payment
CCS will accept Cashier’s or Treasurer’s Checks, Bank Wire Transfer, Money Orders and Cash. PERSONAL CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. Credit Card Advance Checks are not accepted less than Seven (7) days prior to the first day of class and may also subject to a Convenience Fee.
CCS Truck Driving School, Inc. is a WIA-approved & TAA-approved Post-Secondary Institution. Our Entry Level Tractor Trailer Driver Training Program is also VA-Benefit eligible!. Neither of our programs are Pell Grant eligible. For students who are unable to fully pay their Tuition and Costs prior to the start of training, CCS offers referrals to Lenders who offer Credit-Based Student Financing alternatives.
